2009 INAUGURAL BRUNCH RECEPTION
SOLD OUT

The Nebraska Society will host an Inaugural Brunch Reception on Monday, January 19th, 2009, from 8:30 am to 10:30 am — the federal holiday honoring Markting Luther King, Jr.'s birthday and the day before the Presidential Inauguration — in the Columbus Club in Union Station.** This event is a tradition for the Nebraska Society, for Nebraskans residing in or visiting the Washington D.C. metropolitan area during the week of the Presidential Inauguration. Members of the Nebraska Delegation and their staffs will also be in attendance, and companies, organizations and members of the media with interests in the Cornhusker State are invited to attend as well.

The brunch is timed to coincide with the festivities surrounding the Inauguration of President Barack Obama and will feature remarks from Nebraska Delegation members as well as Nebraska Society leaders marking the occasion.

The Nebraska Society has a longstanding tradition of celebrating the Presidential Inauguration with a brunch event for hundreds of local-area and visiting Nebraskans. By providing an opportunity to meet new people, network and reconnect with friends and past colleagues, the Nebraska Society looks forward to helping recognize and usher in our next political chapter with Nebraskans from across the country.

To purchase a 2009 membership or renew your dues to the Nebraska Society, please visit our membership page.

If you have questions or would like to donate or sponsor the event, please contact us at inaugural@nebraskasociety.org.
