June 2006 Congressional Reception
The Nebraska Society honored the Nebraska Congressional Delegation and staff at a reception in the Rayburn House Office Building on June 13. The event was attended by 100 people, including Senator Hagel, Senator Nelson, Congressman Terry, Congressman Osborne, Congressman Fortenberry, Congressional staff, Nebraska Society Members, and visiting Nebraskans.
The Congressional Members were each presented with a personalized Nebraska Society softball jersey, and given the opportunity to introduce their staffs. The Nebraska Society interns were also introduced at the reception.
The Nebraska Society hosts the Congressional reception annually to honor the Members and staff for their work and dedication to Nebraska.
