ARBOR DAY CELEBRATION: Sat., April 25

Thank you to the more than two dozen members and friends of The Nebraska Society who came out to plant trees in celebration of Arbor Day. The community of Trinidad near Gallaudet University was especially grateful for our work and has pledged to have a barbeque for all our volunteers next year! Special thanks go to DC Greenworks, who helped with the planning, costs and planting. Thanks as well to The Pug for their hospitality in hosting our happy hour.

Check out the photos below and make your donation now to help with next year's tree planting.

Members and friends of The Nebraska Society gather around one of the five willow oaks we planted on Saturday, April 25, in honor of Arbor Day.
Nebraska Society members Joe Britton and Amy Cotton dig a whole to plant one of the trees.
