The Nebraska Society of Washington, D.C., was proud to host its Inaugural Brunch Reception on January 19th, 2009. More than 300 Nebraskans attended the event, including our prestigious speakers: Senator Ben Nelson, Congressman Adrian Smith, Lincoln Mayor Chris Beutler and Omaha Mayor Mike Fahey. Our guests were dazzled by the performances of Q. Smith, who sang the National Anthem and "The Impossible Dream," and the Adams Central High School Patriot Band, which played the University of Nebraska fight song, "Dear Old Nebraska U" as well as "You're a Grand Old Flag."
Thank you again to everyone who attended, and we hope to see you at our future events!
